In the summer of 2004 welost a precious, devoted Band Member Alumni, Heather Scott. Heather graduatedin 2002 and was an outstanding band member. She played Trombone, was a memberof the National Honor Society, and a volunteer for the National HeartAssociation. Heather attended IUPUI for Radiation Therapy and wanted nothingmore than to help people. Her parents Connie and Larry were very active bandboosters. Connie served as Vice President for three years and Presidentfor one year. Her sister Ashley was also a very devoted band member whograduated in 2004. This individual must be a current Senior member of the DCHS Band program thathas displayed a positive attitude, strong leadership skills, and involvedin the community. A letter of recommendation, a minimum 2.5 GPA, andPSAT/SAT/ACT scores are also required.
