The annual DCHS Band FRUIT SALE begins today!
The band has sold fruit for nearly 25 years. We are the only group that does a fresh Florida fruit sale and it is usually a very good fundraiser. Please ask everyone you know to help the band by buying or selling fruit. Click here for the handout that the students will receive on 11/12/08. We need to do very well on this fruit sale to meet our goals for the entire year. Every band member will benefit from the money made on this sale. In addition, we are sharing profits - so if you have not paid off your band fees this sale can help you do it!
One change this year: ALL MONEY MUST BE HANDED IN WITH THE ORDERS!

Purchase a band window sticker for just $10. Add your child’s name and instrument for $2 extra. Fill out the order form and return to the band office or contact Renie Batten (856-0844). Order one for mom, dad, and all the cars in your driveway! Makes a great stocking stuffer!

This is the ultimate fundraiser!!! The band boosters and Music Travel Consultants have bought a trip to Las Vegas to raffle off as a fundraiser for you. We have done this type of thing in the past and many students have paid off their trip by working hard and selling tickets. You will receive 50% of the profits on this fundraiser and the band boosters will receive the other 50%. Here is some important information about the raffle ticket fundraiser.
Tickets: Each ticket is to be sold for $5.00. There are 10 tickets in each pack.
It is very important that you have each person who buys a ticket fill out all the information on the left hand side of the ticket. You should collect each stub and hand them in with the money from each ticket. (10 tickets = $50.00)
The trip winner will be drawn on December 5th at the Winter Extravaganza. They do not have to present to win. Winners (trip for two) will receive round-trip airfare from Indianapolis to Las Vegas aboard Southwest airlines plus two nights Hotel stay. All airport transfers and hotel taxes will be paid. The winner will then arrange a travel date with Music Travel Consultants within 1 month of winning. ALL MONEY AND TICKETS ARE DUE ON DEC. 4th!!
You must hand in the money and ticket stubs to receive more tickets. If you lose the tickets, stubs or the money you are responsible to replace them.
You may sell as many tickets as you want (but only 10 at a time).

WANTED: CONCESSION STAND VOLUNTEERS
Please see below a copy of the November concession schedule. We will be moving inside the building to serve refreshments for all the indoor sports. You will find there are many opportunities to volunteer to help the Band Boosters raise money for the Band
Please check your calendars to see if you have time to volunteer for any of the open spots. If you find you have time to volunteer, reply to me only and I will put your name on the volunteer list.
