The DCHS Band program takes many parents,volunteers, and staff members to become the successful group that we aretoday. We encourage all parents to come to the monthly booster meetings to showsupport of the program. New ideas, or suggestions are always welcome and this is the time to share them!  Current Constitution and By-Laws (pdf format)  Current Budget information available upon request, please email Mr.Cox

CurrentExecutive Officers:

Presidents:  Brad Rubin and Gaylene Rubin shall preside over all booster business & Meetings, preparethe agenda for said meetings, arrange any special meetings as needed, to beex-officio of all committees, oversee appointing and training of committee chairpersons and make them aware of their duties and the requirements of theircommittees (not limited to, but including the Executive Board), provide theproper direction of the boosters in order to obtain the goals of the organization.
 
Vice Presidents: Cheri Corsaro shall preside over all booster meetings in the absence of the President, assist the President in any and all tasks, assume the President'sduties upon their resignation or if they are unable to fulfill theirrequirements until a new President can be nominated and elected, maintain acurrent inventory of all physical assets, serve as a general chairperson to allcommittees, head all things related to the scholarship fund and selectionprocedures.

Secretary: Lori Claywell shall attend all meetings and record the minutes along withdistributing them with the agenda, take, file, and maintain all therequired paperwork for, and from staff (ie. 1099, I-9 & Copies of CDL's),to assure that a copy of the minutes, or what she feels is necessary, gets tothe Publicity-Print Director for the newsletter. Obtain a new resolution andsignature card for the post office box. 

Treasurers: Martin Knapp shall attend all meetings and distribute a financial report, make sure that the Publicity Print Director receives a copy for the newsletter, maintain an accurate record of all financial business of the Boosters including, but not limited to, deposits, bills, fundraising staff payments, checks both written and received, collect all funds dealing with all Booster business along with depositing all said funds into the DCHS Booster bank account. Obtain a new resolution and signature card for all bank accounts when necessary. Obtain an annual review of all accounts performed by an outside source. If any discrepancies are found, then an audit must be done by a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a report of the findings are to be submitted no later the June Booster meeting. Shall pay all bills and writec hecks, which require two signatures at all times) upon approval of the Boosters Maintain a sufficient fund as working capitol for the concessions and deposit the addtional funds in the DCHS Band Boosters account.

Financial Secretaries: Liz Hatfield shall attend all meetings and assist the Treasurer in distribution of the financial report, assume the Treasurer's duties upon their resignation or if they are unable to fulfill their required duties until a newTreasurer can be nominated and elected. Shall assist the treasurer with all duties, work as a liason between the Boosters, Directors, and school treasurer regarding all financial matters, collect weekly updated account information & funds on Student fees, fundraisers, donations & requisitions.

Publicity-Web Directors: Lisa Terrell shall attend all meetings and must maintain and update the website as needed with new business, contest information, and general information forthe entire band department.

Publicity-Print Director:  Katrina Killion shall attend all meetings, must composite, print, and mail a bi-monthly newsletter, notify The Times of upcoming events, reports for publication of the contest results, help promote all events.

Elections of officers: March of every year during the Band Booster Meeting, nominations will be accepted from the floor for all Executive Officer positions. Upon the  nominee's  acknowledgment and their willingness to accept the nomination, they shall be placed on the ballot to be voted onin May.  Newly elected officers will take over effective June 1.
