Marching Band Season (Fall 2019)

• Band Camp — Lots of Fun!

• Community Day/Parent Preview (Aug. 25th). Food vendors, face painting and concessions. Parents joined students on the field and enjoy the beginning of our competition show!  

• Dedicated storage area for our massive marching band props located in the old bus garage area courtesy of DC Central Office

• Hosted 7th marching invitational (Sept. 7th)

• People's Choice in Class A/B at Greenwood show  (Sept. 21st)

• 3A Regional Champs BOA Muncie, IN (October 5th)
  Other awards won:

  • Best Music Class 3A

  • Best Visual Class 3A

  • Best General Effect 3A

  • 5th Place Evening Finals

 

Misc.

• Pit Orchestra provided music for the Fall Musical
  "Seussical the Musical" (November 22nd-24th)

• 13th Annual Holiday Spectacular featuring DCHS Bands, Choirs and Drama Department (December 13th-14th)
